Candidates must possess:

- Data management and reporting techniques including the Balanced Scorecard.
- Excellent financial background with rich experience of reporting performance information from a range of sources to tight deadlines in a large, complex organisations
- Sound understanding of project and programme finances, strong powers of analysis and rigorous attention to detail
- Data management and reporting techniques including Balanced Scorecard, and the development of reporting dashboards
- Through knowledge of reporting requirements in government departments and the rail industry will be beneficial
