Head of Procurement and Managed Services
A leading client now requires a Head of Procurement and Managed Services to work for a leading client in Dublin. Head of Procurement and Managed Services will identify and implement sourcing strategies that optimise external spend across the business, taking account of Service Quality, Cost and Risk mitigation dimensions. Head of Procurement and Managed Services will ensure that Managed Services are being provided, and are subject to active vendor relationship management, based on continuous improvement and that a pipeline of opportunities are consistently identified and delivered. In addition they will define and implement a sourcing and managed services framework based on the Sourcing & Managed Services Operating Model and identify a pipeline of opportunities.
The ideal Head of Procurement and Managed Services will have the following skills:
-STRONG COMMERCIAL ACUMEN: Understands and is comfortable in dealing with complex commercial propositions.
-LEADERSHIP: Applies a range of leadership styles to suit particular situations, sets clear business direction aligned with strategic vision.
-PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Energises individuals to invest in personal development to maximise potential and deliver high performance.
-CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Relationship building, successfully engaging on conflicting priorities, gaining agreement for maximum benefit, representing all agenda items objectively, challenging where necessary and resilient in the face of conflict.
-MANAGING CHANGE: Ability to plan and implement a structured approach to managing the complexities of change in systems, processes and structures
-Strong contract management experience
