Head of Planning and Bid Management

Head of Planning and Bid Management who must be currently SC cleared at our leading global defence company based in Boscombe Down. The candidate will need to ensure the successful delivery of the bidding process, resource and skill requirement planning for all programmes to enable the business to deliver in terms of time, cost, quality and profitability.

This is a key role that requires a strong leader with substantial experience to bring a newly established team together and deliver excellence.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:

Significant track record of success in planning/bid management within a similar sized service organisation (£190m t/o, 1500 people)

- Good understanding of organisation-wide issues and the ability to suggest solutions for resolution.
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong team working ethic
- Able to gain respect and work effectively with Peers
- Familiar with EPM resource module
