Head of Insurance Compliance - Contract

My major Financial Services client based in Chester is currently seeking a Head of Insurance Compliance to join their Compliance team.

Key Skills for Head of Insurance Compliance:

*MUST have experience in Financial Services, Insurance or Consulting industry.
*Working knowledge of FCA, DISP, ICOB Handbook and Conduct Risk.
*DISP is a key capability.
*Ability to demonstrate a deep and broad business acumen, excelling at anticipating and deliberately managing appropriate risk/reward trade-off.
*Excellent communication skills at all levels.
*Ability to influence stakeholders and peers to promote ideas and remove roadblocks.
*Analytical ability to draw out critical information from a key Complaint Handling MI.

The role:

*Provide expert Insurance knowledge into the Compliance regulatory change process.
*Manage the continued process of Insurance Complaint Handling Compliance Policies, Standards and Procedures.
*Develop and maintain an effective relationship with the FCA Insurance (PPI) Policy Team.
*Asses the compliance risk associated with business change control, issues, ad hoc requests and special projects.
*Partner with internal stakeholders.
*The ideal candidate would have worked within a similar role in the Financial Services industry.
