Head of Enterprise Architecture

Role: Head of Enterprise Architecture

You will provide the focal point for reuse and creation of value across the Group by leading architectural change in our data, application and infrastructure estate globally.

You will be responsible for driving the value from existing assets, finding opportunities for sharing of technology and services, defining transformation initiatives and building the maturity of Enterprise Architecture, achieving this through direct engagement with senior IT, Business Leaders and Suppliers to understand the context of business and IT ambitions.

You will create clear and compelling cases for change that are consistent with architectural approach and framework, but persuade senior business and IT stakeholders to act.

You will be operating in a global pool of Enterprise and IT Architects, ensuring that these professionals are equipped with appropriate levels of training/certification, tools and operating frameworks to deliver against the demand plan from both COO and Business.

You will operate in a global Enterprise Architecture team to facilitate sharing of skills, best practice and information across, Solutions Delivery, Strategy and Architecture and Business Architecture teams.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

You will have knowledge and use of industry frameworks and tools such as TOGAF, Zachman, Abacus and must have good understanding of the business challenges facing a large financial services company. You will be an expert communicator with excellent presentation skills and be able to demonstrate a good analytical disciplined approach as well as a dynamic, abstract problem solving skills.
