Head Of Design - Aerospace

Experienced Aerospace / Avionics / Mechanical Design professional Required I am currently recruiting for a Head of Design to work for a leading Aerospace organisation in the South of theUK. Your role will be to lead the design team (Mechanical and Avionics CVE's) to provide comprehensive engineering Design and Modification (change) Services under their EASA part 21J approvals and is able to provide design services on EASA or non EASA registered aircraft, as well as being able to assist with the design approval process for aircraft on other registers. Your work will involve creating project bids, so you should be prepared to meet customers and help generate new business. It will be your responsibility for the overall design of all company products and services, ensuring that all modifications (changes) comply with legislation, international procedures and their own high standards, meeting strict quality guidelines. It will also be your responsibility to maintain the company standards to meet current EASA legislation and submitting change applications to EASA as and when required. To be seriously considered for this role you must have the following experience: - Be / Have been a Form 4 holder - EASA Part 21J - Previous CVE experience It would also be highly desirable if not essential to have rotary wing experience.
