Head of Data Management

HEAD OF DATA MANAGEMENT - DATA GOVERNANCE - PERSONAL DATA - DATA QUALITY - STAKEHOLDERS - INTEGRATED DATA LAYER - IDL

Our well known media client is seeking a Head of Data Management to work with the management of Personal Data (including Profile, Activity and Content data) while driving a clear process for moving data requirements through the prepare, innovate and deliver stages of the programme delivery life cycle.Key Responsibilities:

- To define the Data Management strategy and initiatives that align with the Programme roadmap
- Plan, manage and deliver the Data Management scope of services defined under the Data Management Operating Model
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Data Management stakeholders to gain insight into future demand and provide guidance for data management strategy
- Help promote the utilisation of assets and wider personal data by continually reviewing sources for new information and better sources of data and by providing advisory on sharing and utilisation of data assets
- Work with the leadership team in the Personal Data Governance Group to secure sponsorship for implementation of personal data governance initiatives (such as addressing of policies and standards gaps related to management of personal data)

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Previous experience delivering initiatives focused on data
- Experience working with senior Business and IT stakeholders to set data management strategy and formulate data initiatives' delivery roadmaps
- Understand the costs and benefits of data management as it relates to complex data programmes
- Excellent understanding of Data Management methods, tools, delivery approaches and architectures
- Project delivery experience using agile delivery methodology
- Delivery experience with modern data architectures including cloud based deployments (AWS preferred) and with unstructured data
