HEAD OF CREDIT VETTINGS/COLLECTIONS AND BILLING

A genuinely unique team is being created to tackle a specific consumer market segment and this small unit is expected to see rapid P&L growth in the coming year. The team will have to be entrepreneurial to succeed.

HEAD OF CREDIT VETTINGS/COLLECTIONS AND BILLING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage the bad debt and collections process working with the billing supplier and specialist 3rd
- Manage credit policies and their implementation to reduce the emergence of bad debt at point of customer acquisition and later in life.
- Manage the relationship with credit reference agencies and assure the delivery of new functionality.
- Drive the end to end revenue assurance process and manage the relationship with Revenue Assurance teams to ensure revenue loss is minimised.
- Own relationship with Corporate Security team to ensure business unit is not unnecessarily exposed to financial risks.

HEAD OF CREDIT VETTINGS/COLLECTIONS AND BILLING KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Previous experience of collections processes
- Knowledge and experience of setting credit policies in a high revenue subscription business
- Proven commercial acumen, showing understanding of the impact of change on the wider P&L.
- Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to leverage existing experience within Vodafone and the ability to deliver change effectively through virtual teams.
- Project management skills to drive through change
