Head of Architecture, Strategy and Risk Management (Contracting)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Responsible as Senior Department Architect to communicate, monitor, administer and report on architecture standards compliance on behalf of the central architecture functions.
- Develop and maintain key architecture artefacts with sub-departments
- Responsible for the provision of consultancy and support, enabling clear definition of long-term strategy, definition of business function and technical architectures and identification, mitigation and management of risk
- Maintain a clear view of all operation risks within the department, all external and internal audit commitments, SOX commitments and other commitments to corporate and divisional risk management initiatives.
- Undertake technology risk assessments

REQUIREMENTS

- Degree-level IT qualification and/or an internationally recognised computer science qualification
- Subject Matter Expert in defining strategy and architecture goals, monitoring progress
- Broad technical expertise and experience of managing application development
- Extensive experience of working in Matrix structures and influencing roles
- Strong negotiation skills, determination, drive, endurance
- Experienced with vendor relationship management
- Excellent organistion and administration skills
- Passion for working within diverse teams and meritocratic culture
- Proficient English, German highly beneficial

- Contract duration 6 months (+ possible extensions)
- Location Zürich
- CHF 1000 all incl per day
