HEAD OF ANALYSIS, CONTRACT £700 - £800 PER DAY, LONDON, 6 MONTHS

SENIOR LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST, HEAD OF BUSINESS ANALYSIS, ONBOARDING,

Our clients is recruiting a Senior Lead Business Analyst to head up the analysis practice.

This is a senior management role whose purposes is to:

- Drive and direct the global Analysis practice for Onboarding (over 50 resources globally in multiple locations);
- Operate as best in class practitioner and bring industry standard analysis process expertise to all initiatives whilst building strategic direction for the practice;
- Lead all analysis staff and analysis initiatives including business, systems, data and process change across approx. 40-70 projects annually;
- Build and maintain senior relationships with our key business functions;
- Identify cost saving/income generating opportunities.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE FINANCIAL MARKETS (INVESTMENT BANKING OR ASSET/WEALTH MANAGEMENT) EXPERIENCE ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING:

- Senior Executive experience running large multi-project and multi-stakeholder programmes in an international investment bank in an IT leadership role;
- Background in running executive level quality programmes to improve performance and efficiencies in delivering change;
- Experience as a senior lead BA running teams with a breadth of experience across area such as the following:
- Business process modelling with exposure to standards such as BPMN
- Experience of working with application workflow tools eg PEGA
- Exposure to Agile methodology and associated techniques such as Scrum, Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development and Specification by Example.
- Expert in Use Case Modelling and extensive experience of other UML diagrams and techniques.
- Exposure to and understanding of process improvement techniques and strategies such as Lean, Six Sigma and TOC.
- Experience of HP Quality Centre, Visio, TOAD/SQL
- Experience of working with usability and user experience
- Good overall knowledge of the Client interface/onboarding and associated processes within an investment bank;
- Broad overall understanding of the full investment banking value chain and the context within which our business lines operate;
- Track record for successfully completing IT and business change programmes in multiple locations with a distributed team, with a particular focus on analysis;
- Excellent knowledge of the project life cycle and analysis and development methodologies;
- Proven technical experience in an IT and change delivery role;
- Experience of working with multiple IT systems;
- Broad knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks;
- Commercial awareness and experience in vendor management and negotiation;
- Experience in delivering change through different methodologies and the experience to know which is appropriate in which circumstance;
- Able to build strong relationships with other functions and business units and to interface and influence senior managers in the organisation;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills both to individuals and  when presenting to large forums, including MD's and senior stakeholders;
- Ability to challenge the status quo and suggest viable alternative approaches;
- Must be willing and able to travel periodically.
