Hardware Installation Tech - 6 Weekend Contract

Location:  Downtown Atlanta

Duration: MUST be available to work 9am-5pm EVERY Saturday and Sunday for 6 weeks (FROM 7/19 THROUGH 8/24/14).

Key Responsibilities:

- Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of PC and audio/video equipment within established standards and guidelines
- Review and follow specific instructions and diagrams for successful installation
- Proficiently and accurately plug in wiring to designated ports.
- Minimal relocation of desks as needed for successful installation.
- Conduct basic start up tests to ensure units are working properly.

Skills and Requirements:

- 1-3 years in a Desktop Support/Installation type role
- Strong knowledge and proven abilities with computer and hardware installation and setup
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with audio/video equipment helpful  
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work/learn as part of a team
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on tasks, and projects with minimum supervision 

Soft Skills: Fun and personable but serious about getting the job done. They need to not mind being told exactly how to do a job they may think they already know how to do. We have strict wire management and strain relief policies.
