I am currently looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to work on the design of a new IOT enabled system as well as the integration of communication protocols into this.
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: South Coast
Rate: £40 - £45 p/h
You will be designing a low power, RF device and therefore will need to have experience of schematic capture and board level design for similar devices. You will also need to have experience of integrating wireless modules into the system.
Skills Needed:
- Experience with board level design (Analogue and digital)
- Schematic capture (ideally using Pulsonix)
- Integrating communication protocols such as 802.15.4 and 802.11b/g/n, eg WiFi, Thread, Weave, Homekit, 6LoWPAN, Z-Wave and Zigbee
- Good understanding of RF design
