For our client, a global R&D Chip Provider, we are currently hiring a Hardware Design Engineer with Cadence (m/f).

Start: January 2019
Location: Munich

Task description:
- Support HW Design Team in platform architecture, with focus on:

* Training of employees on Cadence Simulation Flow
* Provide Design Guidelines to HW Design Team based on results from Power and Signal Integrity Simulations
* Pin-Out Optimizations of latest SOCs
* Methodology improvements in HW Design Flow, from architecture to complete design
- Extraction of S-Parameters of PCB
- Simulation of Power and Signal Integrity (SI/PI)
- Documentation of implementation, setups and results

Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Cadence Simulation Flow
- Deep knowledge of PCB Design, including PCB simulation and adaptation of PCB Layout
- Proven experience with the S-Parameters for selected signal and power nets of PCB
- Knowledge of manufacturing package (Gerber data, BOM, P&P data. Drawings)
- Fluent written and spoken English
