Hardware Design Engineer - West Mids - Analogue - 6 Months

Electronics Engineer/Analogue/Low noise/West Midlands/Contract/6 months (initial)

My client specialises in a range of electronic equipment for the security industry and are embarking on a project to develop a new sophisticated high-speed scanner.

They are seeking an Electronics Design Engineer with experience design for analogue circuits including photomultiplier tubes (desirable), transimpedance amplifiers (desirable) and power supplies for a 6 month initial period to work within their design team in the West Midlands.

Experience in design of a range of analogue and digital circuits is preferred along with proven experience of board level design and EMC

Responsibilities:
-Be responsible for developing system and board level electronics designs
-Be responsible for schematic design
-Be responsible for PCB layout checks
-Be responsible for board and system level commissioning
-Assist with data collection from test, prototype and first article system
-Assist with documentation of designs and test results
-Assist with maintenance of the BoM and supplier information for test and prototype systems

Location - West Midlands

Rate up to £40 an hour

Duration: 6 months with good chance of extension
