Hardware Design Engineer/Electronics Design Engineer - CONTRACT

Location: South East

Duration: 6 months initially

Rate: Negotiable

My growing client is looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer/Electronics Design Engineer to join them on exciting new projects. My client is very flexible with working days and hours, there is the opportunity to work from home at least twice a week. My client is looking for the following skills and experience:

* Experience of analogue, digital and RF Design (Full life cycle design).

* Experience in designing phased locked loops, up/down converters and switching power supplies.

* Experience of GPS chip sets, micro-controllers and Ethernet Switches.

* Familiar with Altium - schematic capture.

* Familiar with the layout of multi-layer PCBs.

* Ability to capture requirements and write specifications.

* Ability to manage fabrication, assembly and test houses.

* Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering (BEng/MEng).
