Contract Hardware Design Engineer based in East Midlands.

The skills required for this role include PCB Layout and Design for Embedded Systems, Signal interfacing, Network switching, SMPS, Power Supply Simulation, Backplane Technology, Thermal Design, EMC compliance, High Speed Digital Design.

Our Client is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join a team designing, developing and validating rugged PCBs for Embedded Systems. The project will be working on High Performance Computing Solutions; so the Candidate will need to have experience in high speed design, signal interfacing and memory applications.

The ideal Hardware Design Engineer will have a background in Hardware Electronics Design, along with the following skills:

- SMPS and Power Supply Simulation
- PCB Layout Design
- EMC Compliance
- Design for extreme temperature ranges
- High Speed Digital Design
- Signal integrity simulation
- Power plane
- Backplane technology
- Network Switches 10g
