GSM RADIO NETWORK PLANNING AND OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER
We currently have the vacancy for GSM RADIO NETWORK PLANNING ENGINEERS AND RADIO NETWORK OPTIMIZATION ENGINEERS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform the following GSM Radio network planning and optimization activities as required:
- Make the evalution of the Mobile Network and provide the traffic migration plan due to GSM refarming.
- Make the evalution of the Mobile Network and provide the frequencey re-plan due to GSM refarming, and make simulation to estimate the new plan.
- Interference anlaysis for GSM and GSM&UMST
- Monitoring and optimize the network KPIs to assure it reach the target value. Such as the Drop call rate, Call setup success rate tetc.
- Analysis the drive test result and solve the network problems
- Analysis the system features and parameters to optimize the network performance KPIs.
- Provide optimization solutions and suggestion to improve the network quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Telecommunication, Electrical/Electronic or computer Engineering.
- Proficient knowledge of mobile communications and principles of GSM products, signalling flow and protocols, electromagnetic theory, radio transmission, antenna system, and so on
- Comprehensive understanding of Radio frequency channel environment (fast fading, slow fading, time dispersion, scattering, diffraction, wave length/frequency dependence, etc.) and proper prediction model selection (Okomura, Hata, COST231, etc.) and their key parameters calibration for various frequencies.
- Good knowledge at Mobile system topology and system parameters of GSM technologies.
- With the related planning and optimization work experience on GSM.
- Fluent in English is mandatory, ability to speak Danish is preferred.
- Experience in Multi-Vendor radio network planning and optimization is preferred.
- Experience in GSM Refarming Project is an advantage.
