GSM- R Drive Test & Post-Processing/Reporting engineer
Duration: Start June 1st Until End of November 2015 ( 6 months)
Location: Budapest, Hungary + Travel within Hungary
English required, Hungarian a plus
Training on GSM-R specific tools and procedures will be provided
The RF drive test & post-processing/reporting engineer must have knowledge on the RF interface. The engineer must be in conditions to distinguish commercial and GSM-R frequencies and have a basic understanding of 2G wireless networks. The engineer must have proven post-processing and reporting skills. The engineer works in close conjunction with the senior GSM-R RF optimisation engineer and the technical coordinator.
The RF drive test & post-processing/reporting engineer is responsible for:
- Operating the GSM-R drive test equipment used in car and on foot
- Conducting indoor measurements
- Conducting outdoor on-foot measurements
- Advising the Senior GSM-R RF optimisation engineer on required optimisation activities with the objective to fulfil the coverage and KPI requirements
- Post-process collected data
- Compile test reports presenting the collected data
