Group SEO Consultant

My client is looking for a SEO Consultant to work across their Group, enabling development teams to incorporate SEO right from the inception of a project.

They need someone who can highlight SEO opportunities and risks across our product portfolio, and who can work with our Technology Managers to get those opportunities into our backlogs.

The Candidate will,

- Be the SEO advocate and evangelist across the clients group.
- Work with the Global SEO Manager (Marketing) to identify opportunities across our 13 markets and work with local markets to drive projects to completion.
- Work in close partnership with the Marketing Global SEO Manager to ensure onsite and offsite SEO strategies complement each other, delivering greater successes
- Conduct SEO audits and reporting.
- Build a robust SEO process, ensuring new SEO requirements are identified and built into the workflows of our development teams.

The Candidate must have

- Several years' experience in Technical SEO working for large scale E-commerce sites
- Indepth knowledge of information architecture, keyword and content analysis, mobile SEO, app indexing, canonicalisation, structured data, crawl optimisation, XML Sitemaps
- Coaching experience will be very important, and experience in enabling and mentoring people in SEO would be beneficial.
- The ability to influence stakeholders in crossfunctional and international teams.
- Strong project management skills - the ability to own and drive project schedule from start to finish.

This is a 6 month initial contract, looking to start ASAP
