Our FTSE 250 client are looking to hire a Group Finance Accountant on an initial 3 month contract to be responsible for assisting with the production of our client's group annual report and statutory accounts ensuring that all disclosure is compliant with the International Financial Reporting Standards.
Working closely with and dealing with the external auditors queries and acting as a key liaison between the external audit manager and the clients team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take responsibility for production of the accounting and disclosure section of the annual report and interim statement, including company only accounts;
- Liaise with external auditors on ad hoc audit queries;
- Assist with the preparation of papers and reports for the audit committee on technical accounting matters.
- Work closely with the other Group functions and Divisional finance teams to ensure accounting matters are communicated and resolved effectively.
