Group Accountant

My client, a FTSE 100 company based in West London is looking to recruit a Group Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting the focus of the role will be to manage the UK statutory accounting for the 2013 year end reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

Manage UK statutory accounting,: this will include management of the outsourcing finance resource, review of draft statements and liaise with Tax and other stakeholders for the completion of year end report

Director remuneration report: responsible for managing the directing resources, coordination of the audit, inclusion of the overall Director's report for the company's annual results
Ad hoc financial accounting duties

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong financial accounting and reporting background, ideally from a big blue chip company.
