GRIEVANCE AND APPEALS COORDINATOR needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Mateo, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience with Medi-Cal or Medicare in a managed care environment.
- Strong communication skills (oral and writing).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Research grievances and appeals for all lines of business ensuring compliance with client's Grievance and Appeals policies and procedures.
- Maintain grievance and appeals logs and case files in electronic data base.
- Communicate with members and send acknowledgement and resolutions letters timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two (2) years of experience working with Medi-Cal or Medicare in a managed care environment.
- Experience working in call center and/or claims department.
- Knowledge of computers, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. HEALTH Suite is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish (Highly Preferred).
