ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Reviews and collaborates on all new concepts and major campaigns with the Creative Director from concept through production
- Works as team member with copywriters and project managers
- Consults and problem solves with internal and external printing shops and other vendors
- Collaborates on internal creative brainstorm sessions
- Designs highest level creative projects
- Assists the Production Manager in guiding projects to completion
- Collaborates with all internal departments to create enticing and innovative collateral
- Develops, implements, and communicates consistent style and production guidelines that address, adhere and expand upon existing brand specifications
- Provides direction and/or assistance to other graphics staff members when required
- Presents designs and concepts that accurately address marketing objectives
- Continually strives to create superior design and keep in tune with current design trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 4 year degree in Graphic Design and/or related field, six to ten years of professional design experience is required, specifically designing for B2B, retail and corporate marketing programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Agency background a plus
- Exceptional creative skills and marketing knowledge desirable
- Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products required
- Knowledge of Quark XPress and Microsoft Office also desirable
- Ability to work independently and handle many project simultaneously
- Excellent people skills and flexibility in dealing with changing schedules and multiple points of view
- Strong typography, color theory, corporate identity, and branding understanding required
- Advanced working knowledge of both Macintosh/PC computer platforms
- Comprehensive understanding of print production and new methods
- Excellent presentation skills are required
