Graphic Designer Job

GRAPHIC DESIGNER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in LAKE FOREST, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design and modification of artwork related to company products affected by the UDI regulations.
- Define space constraints, and the positioning of new and existing icons and barcoding information while maintaining human readability of all labeling.
- The individual will provide essential product development support by incorporating UDI knowledge into new labeling designs and technical file documentation that conform to company standards and Global Drafting Manual

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum three (3) years of experience with Adobe Illustrator including Photoshop, Flash, and In-Design page layout.
- Individual must have strong computer skills including scanning, exporting, and packaging files for vendors.
- Individual must have an advanced knowledge of Windows and Microsoft applications (eg, Word, Excel, and Access) and be able to work on both Mac and PC platforms.
- The candidate must have a minimum five (5) years of experience working in a team centered environment with a combination of lead and subordinate responsibilities.
- The candidate must also have excellent communication skills, verbally and written, with the ability to interface with various department representatives including off-site affiliates to collect and assemble materials and data needed meet UDI requirements
