Projektbeschreibung
I am currently looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to work on a 6 month extendable contract for a market leading client of mine in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This role sits within a busy graphics team of 6, who are responsible for integrating branding, design, strategy and client goals into cost effective communication solutions by providing professional graphic design, digital services, presentation and proposal support.
Responsibilities
Create designs and artwork for a range of visual communications (eg, brochures, invitations, event programs, advertisements, newsletters, graphic identities, proposal packaging, informational graphics, event graphics, signage, direct mail, interactive pdf, web pages and other digital communications).
Designs and creates original material using basic elements of graphic design (ie, color theory, typography, layout, design software) incorporating elements of my clients' brand, when appropriate.
Build vector maps, charts, graphs and other information graphics utilising Adobe Illustrator or appropriate medium and enhance images or photographs using Adobe Photoshop.
Solid experience in creating web graphics, templates and layouts for use in website projects or online advertising.
Manage creative projects from conception to completion; ensuring products are of the highest quality in terms of content, accuracy, style editing, format and production techniques.
Has an excellent understanding of print and assembly production; can recommend appropriate printing methods, and has experience in developing complete specifications, reviewing proofs and managing print budgets.
Works with Microsoft Word, formatting existing and designing new documents for consistency using Embedded styles or making custom styles; customising headers and footers; working with tables; importing/inserting tables, pictures and graphics from various programs.
Perfecting presentation layout for all presentations to clients and ensuring presentation standards in terms of templates, look and feel and data are consistent and aligned to branding standards.
Maintain open dialogue with customers and understand expectations.
Communicates the status of projects to customers including total time estimate, time of completion, and outstanding issues.
Accurately tracks time to projects on a daily basis.
Outsource projects/tasks to internal or external service providers as required (eg, programming, CGI Scripting, etc.) Obtain bids. Schedule production.
Understand & execute the guidelines and policies of the Accenture Brand.
Serves as a consultant to project management on production values, processes and cost.
Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates when required.
Must possess an interest and skill in designing within a corporate brand while still driving a creative and innovative artistic vision.
Keep current on new graphic techniques and technologies, recommending changes as appropriate.
