Graduate IT Roles

My client, a leading derivatives trading house, is looking for a bright, enthusiastic recent graduate for a new role within their application support team here in London. You will be supporting their trading applications, so will be dealing with traders on a regular basis gaining a huge exposure to the business.

As a recent graduate, you will be working closely with team members and other parts of the company which will result in you gaining multiple opportunities to develop your own knowledge and skill base. This will give you the chance to develop the IT skills you have from your university career/work experience in a commercial environment and become a specialist in those areas, particular UNIX, SQL, and various scripting languages including Python and Perl.

The client would like a candidate to have:

- Graduate with a 2.1 or 1st in a relevant degree
- An interest in getting into application support in the financial sector
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to work efficiently under pressure

This role offers an amazing opportunity for a new graduate wanting to get into the financial and banking sector. No previous work experience within IT is required. For the ideal candidate, the client is willing to pay £23-35k basic, with additional, excellent, bonuses and benefits
