Graduate Data Researcher/Index Project

Our client, a global leader in the finance industry, is seeking a highly motivated, financially astute individual to join the Global Data Team, focusing on Index data. This team is responsible for backfilling historical index data for a number of large index families, researching, analysing and maintaining data through ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery of a portfolio of companies. Members of this team are also expected to work closely with clients, sell-side analysts, listed companies and various internal departments to promote and develop the product.

The position begins immediately.

The ideal applicant will be have very strong Excel skills, financial knowledge, some experience with commonly used databases and an accounting or finance degree, along with excellent communication skills.

Additional languages are not a requirement but would be preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Backfilling historical index data for a number of large index families
- Using strong Excel skills
- Working to deadlines as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Fluent English language skills, additional languages highly regarded
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time-management skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to be a team player
- Experience in a customer service environment desirable
- Experience/Knowledge of the Financial Markets (Educational or Work experience)
