Job Title: Governing Body Lay Member - Finance and Performance

Contract: Two to three years - to be agreed on appointment

Time Commitment: 3.5 days per month

Remuneration: £7,882 per annum

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is recruiting a Governing Body Lay Member. The role of this lay member will be to bring specific expertise and experience to the strategic oversight of financial and performance management of the organisation to ensure that in can meet its objectives.

The CCG is responsible for the planning, organising and purchasing of £854m worth of healthcare locally. We are a GP led organisation with circa 260 employed staff and 80 GP associates representing 108 GP Practices. We are one of the largest CCGs in the country and are responsible for the delivery of high quality NHS funded healthcare for a patient population of 890,000.
