We are currently recruiting for a very high profile project where there is a requirement for Governance Assurance Analysts with proven experience in the following areas:

Governance methodology and practices

Excellent knowledge of benefits realisation

Analytical skills to Six Sigma standards

Business process change

Ability to manage conflicting demands on time and to prioritise

Solid experience of delivering Governance Arrangements across large complex government programmes

Experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels of a large organisation.

Demonstrable Governance management/analysis at all levels in an organisation

Experience of large infrastructure or delivery programmes

Desirable skills:

Managing Successful Programmes

Prince II

AGILE

Six Sigma Certification

As directed by the Head of Governance, key responsibilities will include:

Providing, or assuring, that governing boards/entities have appropriate management information to support effective decision-making.

Identifying interdependencies, issues and risks that threaten successful delivery of the workstreams that constitute the programme.

Tracking and driving actions to focus resources on key deliverables, milestones, issues and risks

Working as necessary with workstream leads to ensure appropriate plans are in place, and that risks and actions are managed and executed effectively and to agreed timescales.

Initiating other remedial actions and interventions where necessary, with the governance structure, to assure successful delivery of the programme.

Supporting the creation and maintenance of process documentation within the existing quality system

Support the definition of the core Governance templates (actions etc.)

Ensuring governance arrangements are communicated transparently across the organisation, so staff understand how and where decisions are made.

Create maintain the Decision register for the programme and promulgation of decisions via agreed routes

Establish and Maintain the Governance gate schedule (assurance gates)

Ensure appropriate letters of appointment and role definitions explained and up to date

Working with planners to establish dependency management regime and ensure built into forward looks

Working with planners to establish forward look decision schedules and ensure built into forward looks

Minutes archiving and review

Maintain the delegations register

Governance progress reporting to the Head of Governance
