Yoh has a contract opportunity for a GLOBAL TAXONOMY EXPERT to join our client in NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA. This position is a maternity leave contract opportunity with SAP AMERICA.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The knowledge management meta data expert is globally responsible for all of SAP´s content meta data attributes and values. Within the Global Knowledge Management Center of Expertise (in the COO board area) he/she will define and maintain the corporate taxonomy and align repositories and content providers. He/she will lead the execution of global streamlined KM processes and practices, leveraging resources in all business units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of overall process for development and maintenance of SAP metadata and taxonomy schemes.
- Analyze and make recommendations to expansion, revision, use, and mapping of SAP metadata schemes. Focus includes the entire life cycle of information: content description, technical metadata, structural metadata, and metadata for delivery and presentation.
- Conduct analysis and consultation for client groups in the areas of creating content inventories, taxonomy development and integration, controlled terminology requirements, and providing guidance to the client group for the assignment of appropriate metadata to its web content.
- Participate in resolving search-related issues and propose elegant solutions that enrich users' content management and information retrieval experiences both internally and externally.
- Ensure alignment and support of various web initiatives (portal development, search services, content management systems, etc) as it relates to global metadata.
- Provide analysis and consultation for the implementation and integration of taxonomy and controlled terminology requirements within client initiatives for information architecture.
- Required to continually invest in advanced learning topics within their area of expertise.
- Set the standards for KM within SAP for content meta data.
- Provide topical consultative support, high-level expertise and project management to KM Board Area Managers on a project basis.
- Continually provide input into the global KM strategy, standards and guidelines developed within the CoE.
- Understand, interpret and communicate standards and guidelines to KM Board Area Managers, IT, Strategic Engagement Managers, and customers as appropriate.
- Responsible for supporting KM business requirements within global processes and tools.
- Required to continually invest in advanced learning topics within their area of expertise.
- Own the meta data life cycle process maintaining the meta data architecture.
- Ensure all standards and guidelines are communicated to all levels of KM organization.
- Meta Data - define and maintain corporate taxonomy and align repositories and content providers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of standard development processes (agile, waterfall).
- Management of a Global Taxonomy.
- Basic Metadata Methodology practices.
