Global Talent Manager - 6 months - Warwick - Negotiable Daily Rate

A leading Energy and Utilities client of Hyphen is looking for a Global Talent Manager to join their site in Warwick as part of a large scale Recruitment drive within their HR area of the business.

Job Purpose:- Working for the Global Head of Organisation Development, develop an integrated global talent strategy which will enable the future success of the business by ensuring we have the right mix of people, with the right skills in place at the appropriate time, aligned to our strategic workforce planning requirements. Working closely with local Talent Managers, ensure appropriate guidance and advice is provided to enable them to operationalise the global talent strategy in a way that is relevant to local business challenges.

Responsibilities:-

*Working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders - the Corporate Strategy team, Global Leadership Development Manager, local Talent and I and D Managers and HRBP teams, develop and deploy an integrated talent strategy to enable business performance
*Manage the global Strategic Workforce Planning specialist to ensure that, as part of the talent strategy, the organisation has a long term view of its talent needs and that the business has an robust process in place to turn these insights into effective resourcing, development and deployment strategies.
*As part of the strategy, make clear recommendations for how we can create a more diverse population of inclusive leaders.
*As a thought leader in this area, own and ensure the consistent application of the end to end global Talent process, frameworks, tools and resources and will constantly apply best practice approaches to ensure they remain fit for purpose complementary of each other.
*Work with the local Talent Managers to ensure these processes and tools are Embedded and consistently applied across the organisation and that there is a sharing of best practice approaches across the global organisation
*Build a strong network with peers from other large organisations and scan the external market for best practice against which we can benchmark our own frameworks and approaches in an effort to continuously improve the way we identify, develop and deploy talent across the organisation
*Work with local Talent Managers to encourage greater cross-business talent mobility and with their input, design and develop approaches to manage the movement of resources across the organisation. Challenge senior colleagues to consider talent as a corporate-wide resource rather than a local resource to ensure people get exposure to an appropriately diverse set of development challenges across the organisation
*Work with local Talent Managers to develop and establish an approach, tools and resources to enable the development of robust career paths across the organisation for critical roles.
*Work with the Global Process and Performance Data and Analytics team to inform the global talent data requirements, specific metrics and benchmarks to enable the development of meaningful insights around the talent agenda and share these organisational wide insights with local Talent Managers who will leverage these to inform local priorities
*Support the Global Head of Organisation Development to manage the identification, development and deployment of executive level talent. Specifically, work with the Lead HRBPs and local Talent Managers to agree the focus for the Exec quarterly talent pool discussions and support the Global Head of Organisation Development to manage the agendas, capture actions and to ensure follow up.
*Working closely with the Global Head of Organisation Development, take the lead on the development of the Annual Talent Board paper
*Review, enhance and define the process for the CEO led Annual Talent Reviews. Work with the local Talent Managers to ensure the consistent application of the approach and to ensure associated actions arising are executed in a timely manner. Support the Organisation Development Manager to present the global themes and organisation wide priorities with the CEO and Global HRD.
*Work closely with the P and P team, act as the Subject Matter Expert for the design, implementation and subsequent ongoing enhancements of the new Talent system
*Work with the Leadership Assessment specialist to provide input to talent assessment processes, ensuring alignment with the talent framework
*Work closely with the Global Leadership Manager, to input to the ongoing refinement of the leadership framework based on the talent requirements of the organisation
*Working closely with the Academy, initiate, review and input to the design of global specific talent programmes to ensure we have a robust pipeline of critical resource aligned to our strategic workforce planning requirements as well as providing subject matter expertise for capability build interventions across our leadership population
*Ensure we have robust talent acquisition strategies globally, focusing on key talent segments at Band B and below, to strengthen talent pipelines
*Oversees all global talent management programme work, ensuring talent management projects deliver on time, within budget and addresses the talent needs of the organisation in the future
*Quality assure the design and launch of consistent talent communications
