We are looking for a GIS Software Engineer for one of our major clients in Bern.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis of requirements with customers
- Maintaining existing business applications (dot.NET), solution design and implementation of GIS applications
- Perform advanced data analysis (GeoMedia, G/Technology).
- Maintaining it in the specific GIS expertise in the technical field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering Education (ETH, university, technical college)
- Experience in IT projects and IT development environment
- Good analytical and conceptual skills and experience in the design of data structures and applications.
- Experience with GIS databases (Oracle Spatial), complex information processing method and with GIS Software GIS application would be an advantage.
- Very good experience in dot.NET [VS, VB, C #], Oracle Spatial, G, GeoMedia
- Fluent English and German are a must
