GIS Analyst

Experienced GIS Analyst required for an initial 8 month contract in Penrith. The position will use 3D GIS technology to capture and analyse relevant data for this project.

Your duties:

- Manage map data change requests, confirm change requirements and apply changes as required
- Liaise with the GIS team to update the Master Maps
- Monitor data and ensure that it is error free
- Determine and troubleshoot data issues and tracking through to resolution
- Address priority incidents in a timely manner and ensure incidents are resolved

Background:

- Experience in the use of GIS software preferably ESRI ArcGIS
- Demonstrated experience in using spatial analysis to address operational and technical issues
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear and accurate business documentation including written technical reports, plans, assessments and submissions
- Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously
- Ability to undertake field work for up to 4 days duration
- Class C drivers licence
