GI ACTUARY - RESERVING MANAGER - LEEDS

My client are expanding their Actuarial Reserving Team, within their Insurance Division of the business and are therefore recruiting for a GI Reserving Manager

OVER VIEW

- Provide detailed analysis of data to produce methodologies for quantification of GI Technical Provisions
- Ensure the timeliness, accuracy and quality of all deliverables. Assist in ensuring the same standards apply to the rest of the team
- Develop reporting on an ongoing basis for GI Technical Provisions methodologies and associated requirements
- Identify and control KPIs and ensure that all activity is focused on delivering those KPIs.
- Maintain and monitor departmental databases
- Monitor technical provisioning methodologies for Solvency II, propose changes to methods and factors being used in a timely fashion
- Mentor and coach junior colleagues to contribute to the technical development of the team.

DESIRABLE SKILL SET

- Minimum of 3 years ACTUARIAL general insurance.
- Project managed quarterly reserving process and Solvency II
- Experience of line managing junior ACTUARIAL analysts.
