Geoscience Application Specialist-West Houston-75-100k

My client, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions to the global oil and natural gas exploration and production industry, is seeking an experienced GEOSCIENCE APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST for their West Housotn offices.

Responsibilities

-Works under general direction to serve as a liasonbetween the documentation team and the product development team, defining user-centric workflow and documentation requirements.
-Develops preliminary "source" documentation that explains core concepts and provides expirements examples and insights related to the products.
-Develops data sets for use in the writing and illustration of product documentation.
-Mentorsdocumentation team on scientific principles required to understand workflows and processes.
-Reviews technical and scientific accuracy of documentation.
-Provides feedback on product usability and design.
-Demonstrates an advanced understanding of geomodeling software products documented by the team and the science behind them.
-Complies with all applicable HSE requirements.

The successful candidate would ideally have a Bachelor in Geology(or related), have 3-5 years of Geomodeling application experience, and need to be able to think like a Geomodelor or interpretor.
