Geological Advisor

I have been tasked with finding a Geological Advisor and Senior Geological advisor with experience ranging from 8-20 years. My client is the US based subsidiary of an NOC. This company is pursuing exploration growth in deepwater Gulf of Mexico.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare geological maps from well logs and seismic data
* Develop geological models and generate required cross-sections
* Evaluate 2D and multiple 3D seismic volumes for hydrocarbon potential with detailed mapping on multiple horizons, analyze seismic attributes, and prepare structural, stratigraphic and amplitude maps.
* Integrate deepwater depositional concepts to develop interpretation of environments
* Recommend major areas of future exploration
* Estimate oil reserves in proven or prospective fields

Qualifications
* Masters in Science in Geology or Geophysics
* Geological advisor level - more than 15 years of experience in exploration with a major, large independent or NOC, for Senior Geological Advisor, greater than 20 years of experience.

Must be legally allowed to work in the US; either citizen or permanent resident
