Geographic Information Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of my established Public Sector client on a 6 month contract a Geographic Information (GI) Analyst. The ideal candidate will have In depth and demonstrable GIS software skills and must be proficient in map layouts and presentaions, geopprocessing techniques with experiece in working with ETL packages and ESRI ArcGIS 9.3. It would be preferable to have demonstratable skills in macro development/scripting and Oracle Spatial Database.

This is an excellent opportunity, with prospects of being extended.

Key Responsibilities:- Performing spatial data audits
GIS guidance and GIS support on GI Policy
Develop and maintain business rule protocols
Reports of key management spatial statistic regularly
Implementation of Ordinance Survey Mastermap Change Only Updates
Planning and modifying GIS applications to improve performance

Applicants must hold relevant degree or equivalent in Geography; Land Management; Surveying; Geographic Information Systems /Science or relevant land/IT discipline.
