POSITION: GENTRAN SERVER CONSULTANT

DURATION: 3-6 months

LOCATION: Dublin Ireland

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Extensive experience with GENTRAN Server for Windows
- Working knowledge of the Application Integrator Mapper - AGN current application version is 6.1.
- Preferable experience with the SAP R3 Extension
- Experience with EDI standards in both EDIFACT and TRADACOMS
- TRADACOMS Purchase Orders and Invoices
- EDIFACT 96A and 96B Purchase Orders and Invoices (ORDER and INVOIC)
- Preferable experience with flat file translations and IDoc formats
- Familiar with Unix
- Able to navigate in a Unix environment and competent with the standard vi editor
- Basic comprehension of communications applications and services
- VAN, FTP, AS2
- Good analytical and communications skills
- Small Enhancement/Projects
- EDI mapping and GENTRAN configuration to support new customers/transactions
- Multiple tasks under the annual Europe projects
- Test and validation activities in the EDI environment, including documentation as necessary
- Support of production migration activities
- Team member for larger project where EDI support is required
- Create/manipulate EDI data to support various business scenarios for test/validation activities
- Provide EDI mapping and configuration services
