The Department of Food Science and Nutrition, University of Minnesota, seeks an Assistant Professor, General Mills Endowed Land Grant Professorship in Cereal Chemistry and Technology. This faculty position will be a nine?month, tenure-track appointment involving research and teaching in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition. Successful applicants will develop a strong extramurally funded research program that applies fundamental principles and advanced laboratory methods to investigations within the area of cereal chemistry and technology, both applied and basic in nature. The appointee will be expected to develop collaborations with other investigators; such as in the areas of agriculture, human nutrition, medicine, and public health. Teaching expectations include education of undergraduate and/or graduate students.
