General Manager

LOCATION: Holbeach, Lincolnshire

JOB TITLE: General Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: £22000, £26000 pro rata depending on experience

WORKING HOURS: 20 hours per week. Fixed term until December 2015.

THE COMPANY: Transported is an Arts Council Creative People and Places funded project which seeks to inspire and amaze and has been designed to develop new ways of engaging and empower more people in great arts experiences in areas of least engagement. Transported will create excellent art that is appropriate for rural communities, is determined by rural residents and is innovative and cutting edge.

THE ROLE: We are seeking to appoint a part time, energetic and experienced General manager to manage the operational side of our new and exciting area engagement programme. The General Manager will be respomnsible for managing the day to day logistics of the project and will work with a new team, which has recently been established to deliver the project.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing a busy office and be highly organised with excellent communication skills.
