Our Gardeners, here at The Donkey Sanctuary, have great pride in creating a beautiful environment for all to enjoy. Working alongside our current team, we are now looking to recruit two Gardeners on a fixed term, 6 months contract between April 2015 and October 2015 and working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend working on a rota. The main duties will include; maintaining borders, the maze, car parks, lawns and trees. Propagation of plant material, the maintenance of building and construction projects, including carpentry skills and maintaining health and safety regulations and COSHH.

You must hold a City & Guilds in Amenity Horticulture, a tractor licence and have experience of power bench saw and abrasive wheel, carpentry, joinery as well as landscape construction experience. Also essential for this role are a chainsaw NPTC qualification and you will also be handheld knapsack sprayer qualified.
