Gaming Graphic Artist (Online Games)

EDT Global are working with an established brand that are currently looking for a talented, creative, and highly efficient Contract 2D UI Graphic Artist with demonstrable artistic experience and strong creative juices to take on a major role in building our next generation of online games.

This contract role will be initially a 6 month placement with a view towards full time employment for the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will work with the Art Director and design teams, to ensure that projects are completed on time and with high quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Game User Interface
- Web Design and Interface
- Menu Design and Interface

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

- Strong understanding of game user interface design and web design
- Strong 2D/3D experience
- Solid texturing experience
- Fundamental drawing and conceptualisation skills with an ability to adapt to established style
- Solid interpersonal and communications skills
- Self-managing organised with good time management. Must be able to identify and meet goals
- Exceedingly creative
- Strong generalist artistic skills
