FUND Performance - Senior BA/PM

DESCRIPTION:

Core-Asset Consulting's client, a leading financial organisation have a new opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to join their team in Edinburgh on an initial 9 month contract basis. The role holder will assist with the project management of Fund Performance driven projects.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide or support high quality project delivery in line with the strategic objectives of the business
- Provide lead input to the department's contribution to the business area's balanced score card
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with company clients and their Third Parties
- Implement new business and business change to timescale, budget and to the requisite standard and quality
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with business colleagues in support of project delivery
- Identify and mitigate project risks with an objective of zero defects once business transferred to the live environment
- Manage any allocated resources who are involved in the delivery of projects either within the Department or as a collective project team from across the business
- Maintain an awareness of topical market issues and in particular changes to legislation in Financial Services

CORE SKILLS:

- Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines, taking into account relative priorities and risk profile.
- Ability to analyse and document business requirements and onward communicate to the project team

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

- Good understanding of Fund Performance metrics
- Project skills, either with a Business Analysis or Project Management focus
- Detailed knowledge of the end to end process of producing, validating and delivering performance measurement results
- Experience in business and process analysis and re-engineering
- Experience of planning and delivery of business change initiatives through complete project life cycle
- Preferably educated to degree level
- Professional accountancy or performance measurement qualification or evidence of good working knowledge of accounting and performance principles.
- Project Management eg Prince 2 useful
