Functional Lead (m/f)

Our client wants to achieve IFRS16 compliance by April 2017 and therefore have initiated a global IFRS16 program, which sets the boundaries and guides the local implementation project.
Existing processes will have to be amended or retired, while new processes need to be defined to enable IFRS16 compliant internal and external reporting.
During the initial dual reporting phase, directed by the standard, IAS17 & IFRS16 compliant reporting has to be ensured. Thus Legacy processes need to be retained during this period, with the goal of retiring these processes once the dual reporting period is concluded.

Therefore we are currently looking for a functional Lead for our client in the telecommunication industry.

Scope:

- Responsible for delivery of conceptual framework and process design in time and budget, reporting to project management
- Lead the design of the functional road map and provide subject matter expertise to workshops, process and design activities in terms of Finance & Reporting, Processes, Contract Assessment and the Solution Concept
- Ensure that all accounting issues are identified and resolved to the satisfaction of Group Reporting
- Provide leadership & subject matter expertise to support and drive the implementation of the S16 solution
- Ensure that the solution is compliant with the S16 common template guidelines and meets the programme principles and objectives
- Work with Group key stakeholders, to ensure S16 design realises any committed benefits and remains aligned to Group initiatives
- Support the workstream leads, System Integrator SI, the Process Governance team and the Local market teams in all business related activities and ensure timely delivery.
- Verification, prioritisation and evaluation of business requirements following client's CBM process and S16 scope

Skill Set:

- Profound expert knowledge of financial accounting and in particular IFRS15 and IFRS16 and the specifics of IFRS in the mobile telecommunication industry and a strong operational understanding of Local markets lease accounting and commercial processes
- Deep knowledge and experience in SAP ERP systems
- Profound knowledge of Standard CBM business processes, Finance process methodologies and the SAP EVO ERP
- In-depth understanding of ERP template projects and experience in managing multinational system integrator teams
