Functional Business Analyst

Our client is currently looking for a Functional Business Analyst for an 18 month contract based in Belgium.

Required availability: Full-time
Mission start date: 22/02/2016
Mission duration: 18 months, with the option to stop the contract each 3 months, with one months' notice
Working hours: 5 days from Monday until Friday (7h36 per day)

Mission description
The program 'PRIME' builds a harmonized and integrated system for the prudential supervision of the Banking and Insurance sector. The FRA (Financial Risk Analysis) project represents one of the strategic projects of the program. It sets up a new solid architecture and built an integrated and modular system to support the financial risk analysis processes. It replaces the current Banking reporting application and Insurance reporting application by the new FRA application with generic functions such as control panel, static and flexible dashboards, Alert, multidimensional analysis. It integrates new Belgian and European reporting among them CRD4 and Solvency2.

The role of the business analyst is to understand the needs of the Financial Risk Analysts and to define new functions to the existing FRA application to meet these needs.
- He/she defines, analyses and specifies the business requirements using the NBB methodology and tools.
- He/she produces different deliverables during the project life cycle according the NBB SDLC

methodology.
- He/she makes the bridge between IT and the business stakeholders.
- He/she describes the as-is and the to-be processes, prepares and performs the change from the 'AS IS' to the 'TO BE' situation.
- He/she works closely with the product owner, the FRA business team composed of business analysts, IT analysts and business experts.
- Next to the FRA project, he/she participates to the other new projects.
