Functional Analyst Business Intelligence

A job opportunity with our top end client. The client is a tier 1 retail bank looking for someone who will perform functional analysis for one or several application in close relationship with the Project Manaiger or Application Manager (Asset Manager).

Function description:

Functional analyst Shell perform underlying activities launched in the context of on-going risk projects impacting the existing BI application for securities:

- Be the linking pin between the Business and Development Team
- Understand business requirements and build a functional analysis which covers needs of the business according to our BI reference architecture
- Collaborate with the development team (Technical application manager and external supplier)
- Set up test strategy
- Perform IT Acceptance tests
- Support the Business during the UAT phase

Languages:

- French fluent
- Dutch fluent

Experience:

- Knowledge of payment and customer data
- Mainframe (as FA)
- Knowledge of BI systems (BO, SAS, ETL)
- Expertise in BI Datamodelling techniques (eg Kimball)
- Expertise in Data Modeling tools (eg Power Designer)
- Knowledge of functioning of ETL tool (Powercenter) and DBMS Systems (Oracle/Sybase)
