TEMPLETON & PARTNERS ARE LOOKING FOR FUNCTIONAL ANALIST - (Functional Analyst) - a Dutch and/or French speaking consultant for a long-term contract in Brussels!
START: JUNE 2016
END: DECEMBER 2016 (SUBJECT TO EXTENSION)
LOCATION: BRUSSELS
LANGUAGES: DUTCH OR FRENCH AND ENGLISH MANDATORY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Goal of the RoMa program is to re-engineer, extend and innovate the existing Demand and Round Management Master Data Management system, so that client is ready for next-generation challenges that are depending on these core operational/organizational services.
To reach this, RoMa program team applies an agile approach and using new technologies to accomplish the business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Embraces concepts such as:
- clarity of business objectives
- executable requirements
- clear acceptance criteria
- short iterations
- continuous feedback
- Is capable to elaborate right solutions to Business issues, being pragmatic and customer-oriented
- Masters following modelling concepts:
- User stories
- Information model
- Use cases
- UI mock-ups
- UML diagram
- User centered design
- Analyzes business needs and provides detailed functional specifications
- Analyzes existing functionalities to identify impact of new Business requirements, then proposes solutions so that existing functionalities support new Business requirements
- Facilitates workshops and meetings with Business to validate elaborated solutions
- Provides functional detailed documentation
- Defines correct User stories respecting the INVEST criteria, then estimates them with team and prioritizes them with Business
- Prepares the Sprint Planning meeting to explain User stories to Scrum team
- Is present in the daily Scrum and is available for questions and delivers instantaneous feedback to the Scrum team
- Validates the acceptance criteria during the Sprint and can offer support during Business Testing
- Helps prepare the Sprint demo/Review
MANDATORY:
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience as Analyst, preferably capable by experience,
- to identify the impacts of new Business requirements on those existing functionalities
- to understand how existing functionalities are currently working
- to read Java and PL/SQL code
- Have experience:
- with large teams
- with working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- in analysing complex systems and impact on existing applications and interfaces
Prefers to be involved throughout the project as part of a multidisciplinary scrum team and not simply upfront during the "definition and kick-off phase"
