Functional Analyst

Next Ventures are currently hiring for a Functional Analyst to join a 3 months + extensions project based in Brussels, Belgium.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of complete and elaborate functional & software specification in accordance with solution designed by solution architect and documentation of the same
Analyse business requirements documentation received from Business Analysts
Formulate and create functional specification documentation, in close working with Business Analysts, Application Owners and Solution Architects.
Analyse technical project requirements documents received from Application Management, for functional impacts.
Define Testscenarios and testcases, execute and support testing
Supports testing on behalf of users, operations, and testing teams potentially including test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing, between different applications, when required.
Work with application developers to resolve functional issues from UATs, and to help find solutions for various functional difficulty areas.
Troubleshooting to resolve reported bugs/issues on applications

Profile:

Relevant experience in IT and Banking sector
High analytical and technical capabilities
Knowledge of Portal applications, Data mapping and CRM applications knowledge is a plus
Proven communication skills
Profound knowledge of methods and tools for functional specifications
Knowledge of technical aspects including middle wares
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in working with different Vendors (located locally and/or offshore)
Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Economics or Computer Science (or equivalent Business Analysis certification and/or relevant work experience)
Fluent in English
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
