JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is an exclusive opportunity to work for one of our leading financial services clients in Zurich. We are looking for a Full-stack Developer to be part of the portfolio solutions department. Do you have the required fast adaption attitude to work within a complex and dynamic project? Do you want to shape new business solutions by working closely with business representatives? Can you deliver high quality software solutions with challenging times lines in a dynamic environment? If yes, don't stop reading!
The IT Team in this department are lead and implemented by several delivery teams in Zurich and others are located offshore. Each team consists of 7 to 10 team members and is independent, covering all disciplines from requirement engineering to development until testing. All the teams in this department are supported by a central infrastructure team and by the program leads.
THE ROLE:
- Implement high quality, reusable and well tested software solutions (Backend and Frontend)
- You will build new functionalities and extend the existing applications
- You will have the ability to work closely with the business colleagues and other to elaborate technical solutions out of the requirements
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Write high quality technical documentation
- Support other team members when needed
THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:
- JEE development skills
- Experience in implementing UI components and software solutions HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript and AngularJS & Angular 2+
- Experience with RESTful Web Services
- Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration & source code control
- Bachelor or master's Degree in information technology, Engineering or similar
- Excellent abstract and analytical thing plus problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to organize the day in an efficient manner & learn quickly
The role is English speaking - German is nice to have but not mandatory. Based in Zürich, the contract will be an initial 12 months, with the potential to extend beyond this.
