FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER

One of my leading financial services clients in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER for a long term contract paying excellent rates. This is an indefinite assignment. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

THE FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER WILL IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Great Dutch and English communication skills, verbal as well as written.
- You love technology and naturally stay up-to-date on relevant new developments.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution.
- You have hands on OO design experience and knowledge of software design patterns
- Good knowledge of OS fundamentals (eg Linux, Windows)
- Passionate about code quality and (integration) test automation (JBehave)
- Knowledge of Performance testing using Gatling is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Java 7/8 including the Spring framework 3.x/4.x
- Knowledge of Spring Batch is an advantage
- Working knowledge of AngularJS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of Web Components and Polymer is an advantage
- Experience with Git/GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Grunt, NodeJS, Bower
- Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) or NoSQL databases (Cassandra)
- Working knowledge of JPA/Hibernate
- Knowledge of Liquibase (for data migrations) is an advantage
- Knowledge of JBOSS Drools (Business Rules Engine) is an advantage

THE FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Full Stack Application Development Engineer who is not afraid to be proactive towards other team members and other teams
- Discuss and decide with Product Owner, User Experience and Customer Journey experts on the content of the propositions
